Data we collect when you book
To process your booking we store your name and, if you provide them, your email address and phone number, together with the rental date and the items you booked. Your name, email address and phone number are stored encrypted in our database.
What we use your data for
Your contact details are used solely to manage your booking: to send you a booking confirmation, to reach you if something about your rental day changes, and to identify your booking at pickup. We never sell your data or use it for advertising.
Booking confirmation emails
If you provide an email address, the booking confirmation is delivered through Mailgun (Mailgun Technologies, EU region). Mailgun processes your email address only to deliver the message.
Website analytics
We record which pages are viewed, the referring website, the chosen language, and the country a visit comes from. IP addresses are stored only as a keyed hash (a one-way pseudonym), never in plain form. We use no third-party analytics or advertising trackers.
Cookies
This website sets only a technically necessary session cookie, for example to remember your language choice and your booking confirmation. There are no tracking or third-party cookies.
Retention
Booking data is kept as long as it is needed for the rental operation and statutory record-keeping, and is then deleted.
Your rights
Under the Swiss Data Protection Act (and, where applicable, the GDPR), you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. Just write to the email address above and include your booking reference.
