Rental Terms
The short, fair rules behind every AquaGo! rental.
Rental and price
A rental covers one stand-up paddleboard package for one day: board, paddle, vest (life jacket), leash and dry bag. The price is 40 CHF per board and day, payable at pickup in cash, by Twint or PayPal. Pickup and return are at the Beach Volleyball Court across the road on Strandbodenstrasse, 8877 Murg; the board is returned by the end of the rental day.
Cancellation
You can cancel your booking free of charge at any time before pickup — just call or WhatsApp us on +41 76 237 65 49. If conditions on the lake are unsafe (storm warning, heavy weather), we may cancel the rental; in that case nothing is charged.
Late arrival and no-show
No stress — just try to be there around your pickup time. If you are more than 15 minutes late and we have not heard from you, we will assume something came up and let someone else enjoy the board. Think of a booking as a friendly heads-up rather than a contract: neither of us is under any legal obligation, so nothing is owed either way if a board does not work out. Running late? A quick WhatsApp goes a long way and we will do our best to hold it for you.
Safety rules
You must be able to swim to rent a board. Minors may rent and paddle only together with a responsible adult. The provided vest must be worn whenever Swiss waterways rules require it, in particular more than 300 metres from the shore, and the leash should be worn at all times. Follow storm warning lights and give way to passenger ships.
Use at your own risk
Stand-up paddling is a water sport and is done at your own risk. AquaGo! provides well-maintained equipment and safety gear, but is not liable for accidents, injuries or loss of personal belongings during the rental, to the extent permitted by law.
Equipment
Please treat the equipment with care. You are responsible for the rented equipment from pickup until return; in the event of loss or damage beyond normal wear, we may charge the repair or replacement cost.
